Description
A strongly aromatic herb, up to 60cm tall with hairless, erect branching system. It has delicate feathery leaves and simple daisy-like white flowers on single steams.

General
This herb has a long standing medical tradition especially in Europe. Used to be regarded as the ‘plant’s physician’ and was thought to keep other plants in good health. The oil is an inky blue viscous liquid with a strong, sweet warm herbaceous odour due to the presence of chamazulene.
Blends well with
Bergamot, Clary sage, Geranium, Lavender, Patchouli, Jasmine, Rose, Rosewood, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang.

Mind & Spirit –.Generally calming and soothing.
Body – Soothing, calming and anti-inflammatory – good in hot compresses on boils, abscesses, infected cuts and splinters. Recommended for use in massage or cold compress for muscular pain and for treating arthritic inflamed joints. Useful for treating sprains, inflamed tendons and swollen painful joints.
Skin & Hair – Being a vasoconstrictor is helps reduce redness of the cheeks due to enlarged capillaries. Valuable for sensitive, red and dry skins especially allergies, eczema, psoriasis and all itchy dry flaky skin conditions.
Diluted in jojoba oil due to price and available for immediate use on the skin.
