Description

Also known as melaleuca oil, a small tree native to Queensland and New South Wales, Australia.

Characteristics

Fresh camphoraceous odor and a color that ranges from pale yellow to nearly colorless and clear.

General

Tea Tree has traditionally been used for its antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties.

Blends well with

Bergamot, Cypress, Eucalyptus, Grapefruit, Juniper Berry, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Nutmeg, Pine, Rose, Rosemary essential oil.

Indications

You can use tea tree oil to treat dandruff by removing chemicals and dead skin cells from the scalp. Using tea tree oil on your hair may help it to stay healthy and moisturized, promoting optimal growth.
